

Tim Novak is looking for Sponsors. Tim takes 2nd Place at the Bainbridge Soldiers of Downill race in 2011. Tim Novak has always been gravity powered. His childhood home featured a fine hill for riding everything from shopping carts to tractor tires. The pushcarts and roller skate cars came and went but when Tim got that first skateboard as payment for a neighbors' clean shed, his life just went downhill from there. The skateboard had quite an effect on Tim but it wasn't standing on one where he found the biggest thrill. Tim was sampling vintage adrenalin at age 12 hurtling on his back upon a tiny stone-wheeled skateboard. Decades later and Tim is still flying feet first down steep mountain roads. Tim Novak has been riding street luge and classic luge since last century. He didn't start racing until 2004, took a break in 2007 and started competing again in 2011. Tim only got to attend two races in 2011: Maryhill and Bainbridge, placing 2nd at Bainbridge in Classic Luge as the oldest rider at the event. At 51 years old, Tim has no intentions of "retiring" and expects to continue racing and promoting ALL Gravity Sports as long as he can still feel the effects of Gravity. "2012 will be a big year for Gravity Sports. There will be more freerides, more races and more participation in all the urethane sports but downhill skateboarding will clearly lead the way. As a street luge and classic luge competitor, this will only mean more riding for me this season. 2011 saw classic luge bridging the gap between stand up and 'luge with more new riders adding buttboards to their skateboard quiver. I believe the 'luge disciplines are here to stay and will always have a place at any racing going downhill."
